Creativity relates to the intellect. The moment originality is stolen, it has a danger to impact the interest of the genuine person negatively. No hard work is primarily the reason of plagiarism. Anybody who resorts to plagiarism, not only acts as a thief but ultimately became a non performer. Non performance indeed leads to belonging a copy cat and an imitator only. There is the rule of copyright as a safeguard to keep our intellectual property safe. According to the law of copyright, to represent someone others pronouncement of ideas, statement and wording without permission is illegal and unethical.
The public health services clarify that the plagiarism is the one of three considerable from of scientific mismanagement, falsification and fabrication are the other two. There is no justification for plagiarism because it is unethical and an act of fraud.
Cut and paste become custom of research now days. Plagiarism has a faulty impact on the class of research papers. India was included in the top 10 countries in the world to present authentic and innovative research in 1980 then it declined to number 12 in 1990 and presently its grating further decline to below 20. According to the “Narayan Murthy” it can be noticed that the research is no longer seen as an eminent and prestigious career because it doesn't seem to give appropriate inspiration and admiration for scholars to get in to research field.
Currently plagiarism have become crucial subject also in institutional and academic journals. Some eminent research journals have been pushed to publicly renounce papers of popular researchers. Plagiarism is seen as unfair act with the university as well as cozenage to other students. Plagiarism distinctively elucidates as a type of research misconduct which means falsification and fabrication or other execution that actually digress from practices frequently obtain in the regulation or research communities and in institution.
As a result of Plagiarism there have been a number of cases significantly around the world where the students have lost their jobs as well as mutual respect or been denied positions. Student can face partial or total loss of marks on the examination or assignment in which the offence occurred. If plagiarism found in any project work submitted by student it requires for submission of new or alternative piece of work. Plagiarism may lead to very harsh consequences affecting the career of a student or a professional permanently. Expulsion, Academic probation and actions may be taken according to the degree of plagiarism. Professional reputation is permanently damaged, therefore plagiarism should not be taken casually. Students should be able to take pride in their work and in the achievements they have attained.
Nowadays the situation of plagiarism in India is quite barren with regard to prevent of plagiarism. To make the act of Plagiarism uncomplicated for the students and academicians there are no databases of thesis and dissertations in India. For plagiarists many institutions, colleges and universities have lowest tolerance. Even though, academic quality of intellectual uprightness are sometimes more challenging the copyright law of government. If you have plagiarized a paper whose copyright has run out, for example, you are less likely to be treated with any more leniency than if you had plagiarized copyrighted material. Thus inventive writing techniques must be motivated encouraged at every altitude of every institution. This healthy writing will not only show devoted work but will also earn academic and professional respect. It is very necessary to make anti plagiarism strategies, and plagiarism detector resources used by the institute to prevent plagiarism. Since plagiarism is about using the ideas and works of another without attribution, how can one plagiarize themselves? However, publications and government bodies don't see this issue the same way. Self plagiarism raises many of the same challenges and problem as traditional plagiarism including duplicate publication and wasted funding. Though self-plagiarism doesn't have a direct victim the way regular plagiarism does, it still victimizes other researchers who might be denied a chance to be publish or a change to gate funding waste on a original work. To kidnap the words and ideas of others is very easy method to minimize time and efforts but it compromises the quality of research. There are many harsh consequences to play with the ideas, thoughts and words of others. Planning your paper well is the first and most important step you can take toward preventing plagiarism. As we begin to dispel these views, the realities of plagiarism in academic writing more deeply, we can begin to devise strategies to not just catch plagiarists, but also prevent plagiarism from happening in the first place.
